Default Everyone has to start somewhere

"United States Registration number N962TM has been reserved for a one-year period...."

- FAA

The first step for me, now I gotta build something to put it on.

If you wish, you can also register it while it is still a dream project.

Exactly what I did.

WJ - Yep. What gave it away?

edit: learn to read Tim....learn to read. I only reserved the number, not registered it.

Default PLEASE............

Do not register your aircraft until it is getting very close to being finished.

While it works out for a few, for every 1 that does, there are 9 that don't.

I've been certificating these aircraft for 16 years and I've seen my share of unfinished aircraft tied up in red tape. Builder sells project, builder passes away, etc.

P.S. 962TM shows to be reserved but not assigned. Being reserved is fine.

Thanks Mel, and that was my intent since I wanted a number that was easy for me and decided to reserve it until I have a plane to register. I'll spend at least $40 on just reserving it every year until I'll be able to use it.

at least.

As a DAR do you have a post anywhere that shows exactly what the trouble spots you look for in the inspection? You could write a book and since everything aviation in 5 times the cost of normalcy...you'd made a fortune. Just a thought.
