Unhappy Congratulations!!

Did you fly yourself? May I ask if you took any training prior to the first flight on an RV 7?

I am hopeful mine will see wheels up in Fall and i thought i would do the honors after a traineing session with a local pilot? Any thoughts on that?

Yes, I did, I could not find any RV pilot around available, I have a considerable flight experience, but if you have someone current on the airplane to sit along you, is better for sure, the free castering nose gave me some work, but it is not a nightmare, tach time as today are 4 hours with 5 landings, being one hour flying 30 nm cross country to a nearby airport with a FP sterba got 156 tas 173 GS at 6500 ft 78F, full tanks. CHTs dropped dramatically today from 446.(hottest) to 409, rings are sitting, no oil leaks, garmin G3X working very well
Heavy LH wing, ( working on that)
