If you buy planearound.com's kit that lengthens the door pins and adds an aluminum jamb there is no way the door is coming open IF it's shut properly. My pins extend past the jamb and the door frame at least 1.25".

Same here, plus, I have micro switches on both pins of each door. Unless all the pins are seated properly, my EFIS is going to have a warning on it.

I also like the idea that the door is "jettisonable" in the event of a ditching!
