Default Anyone building a RV-14 near Monroe Michigan?

I am new to VAF and considering building a RV14. I was wondering if anyone was building a kit near Monroe Michigan? The posts about how nicely the kit goes together and how complete the instructions are sound promising. I do wish there were more engine options available but perhaps that will change in the future.

Welcome to VAF, with all the RV-14 builders I'm quite sure someone should be in your area.

While it's a bit of a commute, there is one near CMH.

I am located in Cleveland. Wings, tail and rear fuselage completed. Forward fuselage 50% complete. I am also installing an IO-360 200 HP engine. Found a great deal on a salvaged engine and just finished a complete overhaul. FWIW- Saved enough $$$ over a new IO-390 to purchase the prop!

How about Saline, Michigan? Mapquest says 41 minutes. (I'm actually on the south side so probably 5 minutes less) I'm not very far along but I'd love to have another 14 builder that close! PM me if you are interested in seeing what the kits look like.
