I had the same problem of noise.
Removal of the music input wires from the intercom input did the trick. Totally quiet now.
A long unterminated cable running parallel to a lot of other cabling picks up the noise.
Shorting the wiring at the jack with a dummy plug has the same effect.

Just buy a little stereo plug and short the three conductors
Or use an old stereo cable for a mobile phone, cut the cable and short the 2 conductors to the screen.

Hi All,

I wonder if the thread drift here can be fixed. The thread is about cross country flight but has turned into an electrical thread. This will make it tricky when we are searching for the information later.
