Default Headset noise

I have a wining noise in my headset.

It quits when I turn off the Skyview also the noise will go away if I turn off the passenger headset.

It will also continue the noise with the engine shut off.

I think the fan in the Skyview causes it.

What should I do to stop this?

If you have the ability to, change your headset from mono to stereo or vice a versa.

G'day Stan, I would first make sure the wiring to both headsets is correct. There was a thread "Finish Kit Instructions pg. 31B-17", which started on 07/30/2012, which established that the original wiring instructions on that page were incorrect.(Mirror Image). Also, the RV12 is wired for Stereo headsets, & the Manual for the Flightcom 403 intercom states (pg 11) that if you are using mono headsets, " a squealing sound and possibly intercom damage will occur".
Hope this helps, Cheers, DEAN...

1. Make sure you have a good ground coming from the SkyView display

2. Check you headset grounds are not connected to ships ground

3. Call Dynon tech support

Identify the passenger that is whining and don't take them flying
Make sure the mic and phones jacks are not grounded.
