Default VS706 vs HS706

Got word back from Vans. I was shipped HS-706 in the empennage kit instead of VS706. The only difference between the parts is shown in the picture below:



You can see the the flange of the VS-706 is flat along the entire edge, while the HS-706 has the dip at some point along the flange edge where the width of the flange decreases.

I have no idea if the two parts are the same dimensions otherwise. When I get the VS-706 I will post more information.

These parts are completely different and one could not be substituted for the other. none of the holes line up, the curve of the parts are different and they are not the same length.
