Default Build toolbox with my dad

I purchased the vans practice toolbox kit a few months ago not realizing how many tools are required. I am not going to build a plane myself anytime soon so I don't want to purchase them just for this project.

Is there anybody in the Austin area that would lend their shop to my dad and I for a morning or afternoon to finish this small project. Thanks!

Default Take the project to the tools

Welcome Brent,
You may have better luck if you ask to bring your project to the tools. Another possible solution is to find a local EAA chapter that may have tools for member use.

You should join the EAA 187 chapter and get on their mailing list. You should be able to find several options in town. If you don't mind coming down to the Buda area, you're welcome to work in my garage with my tools.

Default Thanks!

Yeah, I didn't do a great job of describing my request. My intent is to bring the project to somebody else's shop, not borrow tools.

GeraldC - I am an Eaa member, just not a member of the local. Thank you so much for your generous offer. I will pm you. Thanks again.
