Default Mounting the ARINC-429 Adapter...

Is it okay to Mount the ARINC-429 on it's side?

Is there anywhere you should, should not mount it?

Anyone have photos of how and where they mounted it?

Thanks.

Hi Matt,

Which brand ARINC are you mounting? No matter though...they don't care about their orientation so mount it anyway you desire.

Cheers,
Stein

I can be mounted in any orientation. It is just an electronic box. Just keep it in the panel area.

Exactly...but I would pay attention to the outlet/connectors and mount it in such a way that you can easily access them for future addition or modification...preferably through the main EFIS hole so you don't have to lay upside down under the panel!

Cheers,
Stein
