Thanks Bob, I have looked at those, but neither seems to be for the Baja designs light, so I was curious what it took to create a custom mount, or am I missing something.

Thanks,
Lynn

Default Spect of mr-16

Hi zac.
What are the specification of the mr-16 that you use.
I will probably add your light for my rv-10. Want to decide if i should go with the mr-16, the other led on your website or baja.
Any radio noise with uour mr-16?
Thank you

Our light is designed to fit the mr-16 ,kuntzelman or the Baja design LED lights.
As for radio noise we have had no noise with all three of these. I feel the MR-16
dual bulb set up is a little brighter than the Kuntzelman both are adequate.
But the Baja light is way better the Squadron pro driving light is the recommended light. The spot light Squadron pro works well also.
When you order just specify which light you prefer and we will send the appropriate light mount with the unit.

My recommendation is the Baja Design light. As one customer said "We have crazy light now" with the Baja unit

Default Baja light installed

I finally finished the installation of the Baja light fixture. Initially I installed two MR-16 LED lights but on Geoff's recommendation I took them out and installed the Baja instead. Here is a link to their web site http://www.bajadesigns.com/ProductDe...mNumber=490003

The lighting I had before this installation was a single Duckworks HID LE light near the LH wing tip plus a MR-16 light in each wing tip one of which was a HID. This setup seemed marginal to me, with the addition of of the Aerosport cowl light fixture with two LED lights the center line lighting was vastly improved.

I have yet to test this new Baja Squadron Pro light with 4 LED lights in it but judging by how bright it is during daylight hours and reports I have heard it will bring night back to day.... I will report back here as soon as I have had a chance to test it during night landings

Here I am getting a helping hand from the master himself Mr. Geoff Combs.

The fixture with two MR-16 LED lights

The Squadron Pro light installed.

The finished product! The most difficult part of the job was the prepping and painting, especially with two colours.

These are pictures of the box the light came in to give you an idea of what to order.

Says for RV10 but could this be made to work on a RV7 cowl?
