Bottom skin 20-16 question

Hi all,

I am upto the spot about to attach my bottom skin. I am using 8/12 revision and it doesn't seen to mention at this point I need to step drill access holes for tensioning landing gear bolts as mentioned in the SB. Is that the case? Or will I need the holes later?

Haven't got the plans handy at the moment Jim, but the holes can be done later, although no harm doing them now as per the SB.

If you mean page 21-16, revision 1 from 8/12 is current. You should be able to press on with the skin. No add'l holes needed as you can reach the gear bolts from the end instead of through the bottom skin.

You will need to torque check the landing gear bolts about 5 hours after the first installation and then at each annual condition inspection. The holes are therefor necessary. But You can always add them later.
