Just received my Mini B. Sweet device!
Katie, do you guys have an online user's and/or install manual?
Thanks!
Russ

Hi Russ, I'm glad you like it! I'm working on the installation/user manual right now and planning to publish the first edition on our website later this week. All the public Mini documentation is on this page. If you have any specific questions, let me know!

Hi Katie,
Thanks for the info. I've checked out that page for panel cutout sizing and wiring before powering the unit up to make sure I had all required connections in place.
Looking forward to the full manuals. I better let you get back to work. :-)
Thanks again,
Russ

Nice!
Thank you Russ.
It's going to be a tight fit in my panel. I have exactly 4.35in. between the face of the ASI and Altimeter and about 0.05in. on each side behind the panel.
The good thing is that I will have the maximum EFIS screen size that will fit without major remodeling of my panel.

Thanks Dennis I'm looking forward to seeing how yours will fit. FYI I ordered mine the week of sun and fun and the update I got last week was approx one month until i will see mine. Also my attitude indicator just started acting up so this is good timing.
How to do you get pitot line to both the backup asi and the efis ? I know nothing about panels.

I ordered mine April 25th and I was told between 6 to 8 weeks of wait.
There seems to be a T connector for both the static and pitot at the back of the instrument.
Maybe Russ can confirm?

Mine has a separate port for Static and Pitot pressure. I used a T to run static over to the transponder when I plumbed it.
Note to self: When taxiing around and on takeoff roll.... the airspeed data window is blank. At about 30 or 40 it comes alive. In the tests I have done so far including slow flight, stalls, cruise up to 16000 ft. etc. the airspeed readings are spot on.
My wife just flew with it for the first time yesterday morning and can read it just fine from the right seat. I set the font size for the main three data blocks to large. We can both read it with sunglasses too. The slip skid ball is dampened somewhat... but I have to say I like that. The autopilot next to it has the old school ball floating in a curved glass. (note: Trio often gets asked to make the bubble go away... they have to explain that, no... you don't really want that)
I am drifting and not coordinated here. Back to the Mini. It likes to be sitting still when started up... but not a strict requirement. I have tried taxiing out while it is erecting. It comes alive and does it's thing just fine. I have set a couple of waypoints in the box... to use the built in GPS for a course line. Works fine... just don't plan to really use it for that very much.
I will wander over to the for sale forums soon and post all the old vacuum gyro instruments. I won't be needing them with the MINI. Thanks GRT.
