Need an Avionics Shop
I have an RV9A which is a dream when it comes to installing any avionics that I want. Unfortunately, I also own a Comanche and am having a real problem with avionics shops. I want to have a Garmin GTN 750 installed and can't seem to get anybody interested in the job. I guess all the shops are too busy and making too much money to be interested in my little $19,000 job!
Does anyone know of a reputable shop in Florida or south Georgia that actually wants some work?
Thanks.

Give Carl a call at Sebastian Avionics located at Merritt Island (KCOI). Great guy to work with and he does a quality job.

Avionics Shops
Have you tried the shop in Columbus Ga? I can't recall the name but seems like I remember someone using them with good results.

I can tell you where NOT to take it. . . Precision Avionics in Griffin, Ga. If you want I can tell you why off-line. I rather not bash someone on this site but I will tell you it was a huge safety issue.

American Aviation at KBKV, Brooksville,FL.
They do a lot of upgrades on high end aircraft but do excellent work on GA.
One of the guys is in our EAA chapter and he just acquired a RV9A.
I've had several comm issues that they fixed at no charge.
Yes, no charge
I trust them. And, they do excellent work.
Ask for Jason or Tom Longo. Tell them I sent you.
