Default Locking Fuel Cap?

Wondering if there is a locking fuel cap available for the RV-12? Thanks in advance.

Ashley,

Are people stealing gas from parked planes there? Just when I thought the low lives couldn't surprise me! Hanging is too good for 'em!

Maybe they'll steal 10 gals of 100LL and put it in their Honda Civic - the lead ought to make it run REAL good. Well, the they can steal some diesel off a CAT and clean-out the 100LL......

Default See the Fuel!!

Always, always, SEE the fuel before flight! Either by looking into the tank, looking through a sight window, by dipping the tank with a small diameter tube, or by dipping the tank with an unpainted wooden stick. Never assume. Two people were killed some years ago when staying overnight on the way to a flyin. They filled the tanks in the evening to allow an early start next morning & unfortunately must have ASSUMED the fuel was still in the tanks. It wasn't, it had been stolen & the engine stopped shortly after takeoff. Very sad. DEAN.....

Sight window? What sight window?

Vans has consigned that to history.

The question now is - what did the Moeller gage show you????
