Removing lord mount from engine mount

Trying to remove lord mount. It seems to be stuck in the cup of the motor mount. Is there some kind of trick to removing it without destroying it? Tried prying on it a little bit but don't want to screw it up.

Often times a side load is required. Beating with a mallet. Its stuck but it will come out with enough brute force.

Thanks Kahuna, I guess the old adage " when in doubt get a bigger hammer"
has it's place in aviation too.
