Default Tow Bar

I have a bogert towbar that I have been using for moving in and out of the hangar. I would like to find a way to mount this in the baggage area. I have the mounting clips they provide, but haven't found a way to mount it yet. I am thinking of using some standoffs on the rear bulkhead and mounting the towbar there. What have others done?

On a related note, I'd like to find a better hangar towbar. I don't want to plunk down $1500 for a power tow, so I am just thinking of something more rigid than the bogert bar that can stay in the hangar full time. No need to have a collapsing towbar for the hangar. Thoughts?

Nice little welding project. Buy some metal tube and make one one up. Maybe make it so that it will attach to a small ride on lawn lower for a redneck tow tractor.

Default Stowage for the tow bar

Dave Saylor developed a a little stowage area for tow bogert in his 10. It allows you to pull the bar out easily even when the baggage compartment is full. Scroll Dow on this page for an image: http://www.aircraftersllc.com/produc...op?id=products
