Default D180 vs Skyview

In bright sunlight I was unable to really use the D180 from the right seat, even with a Koger shade. Somewhere I think I heard with the Skyview you could, it was bigger and brighter. For those who have had both, is that true?.

I have had few visibility issues with my 10" Skyviews in the bright Florida sun. I just wish my iPhone display was as bright.

Is this a "Bright Screen" D180? I fly behind both a D-180 bright screen in my RV-7 and a Skyview in an RV-8. The Skyview certainly has a brighter screen, but the D180 with a bright screen option is acceptable in direct sunlight even from the right seat.

agreed x 2, thought it does take a few seconds, maybe a minute to get to full brightness.
