Default Hicks

Hi!

I'm planning on flying up to Fort Worth this afternoon (9/13). It looks like Hicks is the most convenient airport to my Brother In-Law.

Can anyone tell me what the tie-down situation is like? Will I be ok leaving my plane on the ramp for a couple nights (Sunday sometime)?

Don't have the RV finished yet, so I'll be flying the Cardinal.

Thanks,

-Dan

Default Tie Down

I left my RV6 there overnight at a tie down. No issues.

It's a good safe airport with self serve fuel and lots of RVers including Jay Pratt and RV Central if you need any help. It's fenced and the gate is closed overnight so it is about safe as anyplace.

I don't know how long it's been since your last visit to Hicks but the Beacon Cafe has very good food. Go to www.t67.org and click the link for Beacon Cafe Menus to see what they have to offer. Open Tues thru Sunday, 7am to 2pm.
