Second ZULU works. I have the Mini which works great in the side by side even when worn on right leg with passenger. Had the ASA standard 5"x7" which was fine until you have someone sitting next to you and you need to adjust the trim.
YMMV

Not that common here in Europe but found this German website that sells them. Dirt cheap.

Or buy from Gloster Air Parts, ?15 - only 2 left after a run on sales at Sywell.

A friend of mine used a kneeboard like this one while he flew gunships in Vietnam.

He gave it to me when I finished my RV.

Not only does it work great, but I'm proud to keep it flying!

Default Hendreks 9-G Pilots Kneeboard $34.95

http://www.helicoptersonly.com/contents/en-us/p766.html

$34.95 seems like one of the lowest prices at Helicoptersonly.com

Seems to have high ratings from Military Pilots for quality and perfect size.

I use one much like John and Bruno, with a light at the top.
