Default Wife wanted to play, but...

So there we were, doing our Sunday church and computer upload things, and she says she wants to join the community here. I tried to discourage her, don't need any conflicts of interest, So then she is surching the web, finds vansairrcaft, I laugh and say nope that's not it, still laughing to my self, then she finds it! NO! Ok, I am watching her from my computer station, watching and laughing, VAF set up account procedure..... What is the last didget of ILS identifier of bla bla field, so now it is a competition, she looks up the info on Google and finds an approach plate, she says what the He!! Are all these numbers, as I was laughing walking over to her computer to show her, she just gave up and says the heck with it. I say, but honey.....I'll help you. Safe! What happens on VAF stays on VAF....for now anyway.

And here I thought that security question DR setup was to keep ravaging advertisement computers away. My wife knows "of" VAF, but not by name

My wife somehow figured it out last week. She said that she was able to find the answer to the ILS question with a few Google searches. It's a good thing though. I think achieving buy-in from the SO should be a major priority for a project like an RV, and the SO joining the forum on their own is definitely a sign of that.

Bret,….
If I may be so bold, from someone who has been down that road? Help her, encourage her, and mentor her in the ways of VAF. She will soon tire of it…..but VAF will have lost the mystery of the other woman vying for your time and affection. It will become HER choice to walk away from it and she will start bringing you cups of coffee and goodies as you sit at the computer doing research to improve the airplane that she and your children will eventually ride in.
Been there… etc… etc…

Well, she will not go up in it with me, scared to death of flying, but she does support me, she designed the paint scheme!

Wife: "What are you doing, hon?"
Me: "Just looking at porn on line."
Wife: "Oh. Van's, Barnstormers or Controller.com?"
