Smile Safety (Emergency) pack

Another thread made reference to what safety (emergency) equipment you should carry with you in the plane.

This Solicitation document is for the Navy Seals and lists the contents of their emergency kit -

https://www.fbo.gov/utils/view?id=08...cf6574212fd2cf

The file link is to a MSdoc file.

In our case, we could probably skip the handcuff bit but the rest of the contents seem applicable.

I think a couple zip ties come in handy for unexpected requirements to secure items (or unrully passengers )

The book "98.6: The art of keeping your _ _ _ alive!" is the book that I read and use as a survival bible. My survival kit is based on his book. I also have a copy of the old US Air Force and newer Army "Survival" field manual. (FM 21-76)

Cody Lundin offers courses in survival on his web site along with his books.

Looks like just a handcuff KEY...which I am DEFINITELY putting in my kit!

however, i dare ya to get all that stuff in an Altoids tin! ...man, just the duct tape would take up more space than that!

Yes, but when the specs require that the hard case is also a digging tool, the Altoids box option is out....
