Foreflight
Swixtt,
At least with Foreflight, you select which maps you want loaded on your device. That way you do not need an Internet or cellular connection, just an integrated GPS on the device or to connect to an external GPS with wifi or Bluetooth. Works vey well.

That was one reason I changed to WingX, you don't have to download each sectional.

Wing x
I started with Foreflight and I am used to it, but WingX sound to be great also. I was thinking of wingX with that Levil AHARS box as an emergency backup if I ever had a vacuum failure for navigation in the soup. Has anyone tried the WingX with the levil ahars?

I have WingX and the box, they work great! I use them in the 172 every flight.
