Default Powder Coat Touchup on Battery Box...

So I cut the lightening holes in my battery box and now the steel is exposed around the inside of the hole, what did you guys use to coat this exposed steel? I really do not want to spray the whole battery box but I do not want to leave that bare steel exposed either...

I was wondering the same thing. I thought about the cheap powder coat gun and paint at HF and if they worked very well. I think I remember reading the gun worked well, but the powder wasn't the greatest. Maybe it would be a good way to touch up some of the parts?

I lightly sanded mine down and edge deburred the holes I cut out, then just shot it with some black hi-temp engine paint from the local big box store. Why wouldn't you want to at least hit it with a fresh coat of spray paint?
