First flight of RV-6A, N624XP, kit # 22369
On Thursday, 8/23/12 at 1830 hours my RV6A, kit # 22369 slow build, non pre-punched, took to the air for the first time. The plane performed as advertised and flew very well. After 4 and a half years of building pretty much every spare minute I could muster. It was a thrill to get it in the air for the first time.

Wow!! That's fast..
Wow!! 4 1/2 years is really fast considering it was a very slow build kit.
Congratulations! I know you feel great... and you should!
Welcome to the flying club. :-)

Congrats!
It's great to see another slow-build 6 completed and flying. That definitely takes perseverance.

Well Done
What an accomplishment! Some guys like to build, some like to fly. Hope you can make the transition. lol It's a funny feeling to just check the oil and gas and go. You'll be amazed how little horse power will keep you in the air. At 15 inches, I'm still cruising 110 MPH.
