Default Dynon Skyview Oil Temp Sensor

Today I tried to install the Dynon supplied oil temp sensor on my new (from Van's) IO 360 M1B. Unless I am misinformed, this sensor installs on the port that is just fwd of the oil filter on the oil filter adapter, and is facing upwards. To my surprise the threaded portion of the sensor (Dynon Part No. 100409-001, 5/8") is a bit too small, and just drops into the hole. This is the larger of the two sensors that Dynon supplies according to the installation manual, and measures approx. 9/16" dia on the outside of the threaded portion. Anybody seen this problem?

Default Update on incorrect size Dynon Oil Temp Sensor

After contacting Van's, who helped me figure out that the supposedly 5/8" thread size on the Dynon Temp sensor I recieved as part of the Skyview EMS harness package was actually a 9/16" thread, I contacted Dynon Tech support (425-402-0433) and they said that a batch of incorrectly sized sensors went out from a supplier. They are sending me a replacement and a shipping label to return mine. Good for Dynon.
