Dynon Remote Compass
Does anyone have a picture of the mounting setup for the their Dynon Remote compass in a RV-6/6A?
I have a D10A and will need to see how it gets mounted.
Thanks,
Aden

aft of baggage compt.
No photos handy, but I made my own mount out of scrap in the hangar, and placed the unit on the center vertical stiffener towards the top of th fus. Works fine.

Reminds me of the bathroom at "Spankys".

Dynon Mount
I purchased the SafeAir unit.
Don't need to reinvent the wheel.
I appreciate the inputs.
One last question!
Can I run the remote compass wiring along side the strobe light wiring?
I have one power pack that will run both strobes so the wiring will have high voltage in it.
Thanks again,
Aden Rich

yea, but it's sentimental graffiti so it has to stay! That was my youngest kid's contribution when she wanted to come out to the garage and help me work on the plane - notice it's upside down from when the fuselage was in the jig. I look forward to reviewing that graffiti every year when condition inspection time rolls around. She's in high school now and is proud to know it's still there! This interior picture is twenty times better than mine. I miss my kid "helping" me on my project. You're right! That is a great archival memory.

I too have purchased the Safe Air compass mount in anticipation of mounting my Dynon D10A in the wingtip. My RV6 has wingtip strobes too. I have the same question as Aden. Will this be an issue?
