Default Primary Flight instruction NW DFW area

A coworker is looking to spend his GI Bill money on primary fix-wing flight instruction. I ***think*** he needs a Part 141 school to comply with GI Bill money requirements. He's lives in Flower Mound, so I suggested Northwest regional, Hicks or Denton.

All my instruction in the DFW area was at Addison or Arlington, but the traffic driving to either of those for him would inconvenient.

Does anyone have any recommendations?

Default Try these guys

These guys in Denton worked well for me. Good airport out from under class B and open air north for practice. http://www.usaviationacademy.com/

Marcair Aviation at Northwest Regional are very good. The aircraft are newer and very well maintained. The use 2005 and newer C-172S, and have a C-182RG, T-182T, and a Super Decathlon. The web site is: http://marcairaviation.com/
