Now, can anyone point me in the right direction for the same type of list for all the navaids (VOR's, NDB's, and intersections) for the US with ID and Lat/Long. I am sure it's out there from the FAA Somewhere---just haven't found it yet.

Thanks
Paul
Paul - try the X-Plane data files. They may require a bit of parsing for the airports, but the navaids should be easy to load:

http://data.x-plane.com/get_data.html

Navaids are in earth_nav.dat or nav.dat (depends on version)
Airports are in apt.dat

Although the X-Plane data files and the navaid.com look like the data I need and may work for testing, I really want to find the "Official" Data source these sites are getting this data from.

Thanks, Still hunting

Contact Robin Peel at robin(at)xsquawkbox<dot>net to see where he gets his data from. It is usually updated on a quarterly(ish) basis.

Yah, thanks! that's a useful link. I would also be interested if someone found a csv file for nav aids.

Digital Obstacle File: http://aeronav.faa.gov/index.asp?xml...ns/digital/dof

Looks like there was a digital navaid file once available (http://avn.faa.gov/index.asp?xml=aer...digital/navaid)- but it's moved to FADDS (http://avn.faa.gov/content/aeronav/a...AID_Letter.pdf) and apparently now only available within the FAA (https://nfdc.faa.gov/fadds/). I'm trying to find out if it is still freely available to the public.

Yep, thats it. FADDS - Facility Aeronautical Data Distribution System
offers a 56 Day NASR Subscription download that will overwhelm you with data!

It is not anything easy like the excel airports spreadsheet link but it has everything you would possably want for navigation purposes.

Thanks for the help
