Default Question about required publications

In section 1, Page 01-02 there is a list of publications. I could not locate:
- Sheet Metal, Vol. 1
- Building the Metal Airplane
- Light Airplane Construction

Any suggestions? Thank You
David Fuchs

Default Books

David,

I read the manual as suggesting the books as "helpful" rather than "required", but anyway, a quick Amazon search gives matches for all three, although at least two of them seem to be out of print or only available there as second hand items.

I notice on the Amazon results pages that two of the books seem to have originated from the EAA. Have a look at their "store" and specifically check the "Technical and How-To" book section. I don't see a direct match but one may have been re-titled. Or, you might find others there of similar nature - there's quite a list they sell.

If you haven't already, I'd suggest you check their "Hints for Home Builders" online video clips as well. I found them to be a great resource. Lots of them online.

Alternatively, I recently received great help from Tina of Tina's Pilot Shop (advertiser here on VAF) who was able to get me a couple of books that she didn't have in stock at the time. Great service and quick too!!
