Default RV Building in Key West - is it feasable?

I have orders to Key West and an RV-7 that will be at the Quick Build Stage by the time of the move. Does anyone have experience building down there? From what I know most houses do not have garages and hangar space is expensive (especially for a plane that's not flying). Then there is the hurricane risk. Looking for someone that might have cracked the code on this as I hate to store my project for 3 years. Thanks.

Dave

Was just there this week. Call Freddie Cabanas he'll probably be able to point you in the right direction. Good luck!

I'd be more worried about finding time to build between work, fishing, and duval!!!

That's General Fred Cabanas of the Conch Republic Air Force! (his "official title" in Key West.

If it flies he's the guy!
