Default gas tank inspection port -- problem?

For various reasons (read: i messed up) I managed to drill the inspection cover slightly off center from the large hole. These pictures should explain what i mean (I realize it is cleco'd together backwards):

The tooling hole is now no where near covered by the backing plate. I feel like this is all a pretty minor issue all things said and done, but i'm not sure.

Should I build-on or does this need some kind of attention?

I would keep building. I might drill out the tooling hole and install a mega rivet or AN bolt instead of relying on proseal to fill the hole. Nobody but you will ever know and someday you'll forget about it.

Thumbs up Not a problem!

Just proseal that tooling hole both inside and out. If you want to put a rivet in there use a countersunk rivet flat on the out side and notch the support ring on the inside to allow clearance.
