Default Dual mag EI solution

As I struggled through the D3000 P-lead termination (not the same as the std mag) I'm once again lamenting no real solution for electronic ignition for us dual-mag folks.

Right now the best bet to plug the hole with a single mag and a stand alone EI.

I want something smarter. I'm ~3 years away from the 5yr/500hr inspection on my D3000. That will run me ~$1200. Somebody come up with a $2000 solution for a dual EI.

Anybody listening?

E-mag Ignition's new style P-mag should be ready and well tested about the time you need one.

They are looking the "H" engine as one of their customer bases.

I am with you Rick. I have been eagerly waiting one since I saw the prototype pictured in the Oshkosh issue of EAA mag last year. I thought with the recent non support of the D3000's they would step up the progress.

It is a good system and the designer Paul Lipps is first class, but dealing with Klaus is unpleasant and I want a compact solution that is simple plug and play. My personal preference.
