Default Door pin guide blocks

I found it rather hard to make neat blocks with the UHVM material supplied in the kit and have decided to make these out of titanium instead.

They came out quite nice and I am now offering it to fellow builders as a set made out of stainless steel or titanium. These materials will not interfere with the magnetic switches of the door alarms. See the picture below and for more info go to http://www.rvbits.com

Default Benefit?

Hi Jan,

Yes the plastic blocks are not durable. Yours look reeeal nice, but what value does titanium or stainless have over aluminium (at a fraction of the cost)? It only took me an hour or so to fabricate two from Al and custom fit to my installation.

cheers
Ron

Hi Ron,
You have said it - DURABILTY. The softer ALU will surely start showing marks soon. Besides that there is nothing wrong with ALU.
If there is anyone out there who wants it in ALU, it is available.
