Default VOR ID morse codes fading

Hi all,

Over the past months, the volume of the VOR morse code IDs has slowing been decreasing to where i can no longer hear them at all. Any suggestions?

Also, in my troubleshooting efforts, can i redirect the nav volume to an outlet that accepts my ipod ear buds? Or does the impedance thing make that impossible?

Default morse code fading

Good grief!

When I was a wee boy of 17, I passed the FCC 20 wpm code test for my
amateur extra class license. I was so proud

These days, this particular skill and a dollar can just about get you a cup of coffee anywhere!

The last reason to know the morse code is going away....

Anybody wanna buy a nice used telegraph key?
