Default Airports around Mc Allen, Tx

We're planning a trip to McAllen, TX during the third week of January, 2011. Wonder if there is reasonably priced hangar space available in that general area?

I grew up in McAllen and go back every few months now. McCreary Aviation at MFE is the most convenient place to land if you are going to be in the immediate area of McAllen. I believe over Thanksgiving they charged me $30 a night for the hangar with the first night being free if you buy fuel. The problem is that their fuel is $5.09. Not sure where you are coming in from but Beeville (BEA) is about 120 miles north of MFE and they have fuel for $3.50 which is where I stop either going in or out of McAllen. I know that the Edinburg airport is starting to develop but I am not aware of transient hangar space there.
