Default Anyone with an RV-9A in Texas

Is there someone in Texas that has almost finished or has finished an RV-9A? I would like to see one up close and talk to the builder. I'm considering building one but have some questions. I will travel anywhere in Texas so it doesn't have to be close to my hometown of Corpus Christi, Tx.

Default Raymond, MS

Closest I can get is Raymond, MS (M16). We are within a month or so of flying our 9A - you are welcome to visit.

Built an off-plan RV9A with too much fuel and too much HP. Should drop dead any minute now.

Default ELA

There is a flying RV-9A at Eagle Lake, TX. I don't know who actually built it originally. I flew it back after a rebuild in Seguin to ELA about 3 months ago. It isn't super pretty as the wings don't match the at this point, but if you want to come up this way, I can put you in touch with the owner. e-mail me at troy (dot) millican (at) gmail (dot) com.

Default Ride in Austin

We'd be happy to take you for a ride if you make it to Austin. There is also a good chance we'll be down in Palacios for lunch sometime in the next few weeks. I could let you know when that happens as it would be a much shorter trip.

I'm still building, working on the cowling and about to start on the panel. I'm in Lakeway, just west of Austin. If you visit the Austin area you're welcome to drop in, see the project, and ask lots of questions!
