Mine is a copy of what Deems has done.

Simple and easy-----I made it up in poster board first, as I usually do. You can also bend up a couple of tabs to make stops for the open/closed positions, all from a single piece of alum.

As I recall, I used the Facet fuel pump mount that was meant for the tunnel in a carb setup, and just re drilled the mounting holes as needed. Then the cable mount is sandwiched in the middle of the stack up.

What do one call that thingamajig that holds the cable to the rotating lever? I need to buy one from Spruce or Vans, but need to know what it is called to search for it

I used the same valve pictured. At 275 hours there is a very small leak at the bottom end of the rotating valve stem. I use the parking brake valve on perhaps 3/4 of the flights for relatively short periods of time (refueling, tie down etc.)

We'll probably replace seals on next annual.
