Default What plugs for Sam James Holy Cowl..?

What cowl plugs do you use for an RV with the Sam Jones Holy Cowl.
I looked at cowl plugs from Aircraftspruce but they don't seem to sell the round ones needed for this particular cowl.

Considering fabricating something myself. Any ideas ?

Default Nerf footballs

Somebody suggested Nerf footballs. I found a small one that fits into the small inlet and I've been on the lookout at the dollar store for the bigger ones for the bigger inlets.

Default Cowl plugs

I have the Sam James cowl on my -7A, and use the cowl plugs from Bruce's Custom Covers. They are made for the SJ cowl and work great (although $$). Can email you a photo if you want.

Cut from insulation styrofoam, connected by a cross strap. Paint if you wish. Dirt cheap.

Default Straps

Be sure to connect them all together with straps. Then run the straps so that they drape over the spinner, between the prop blades. That way if you forget them, the starter will remove the plugs for you! Embarrassing maybe, but it would keep you from over heating the engine and maybe even causing a fire if they go inside the cowl very far.
