Default VA airports

Hi all,

We are planning a trip to Sun-n-Fun this year from Ottawa, Canada. We need to stop in VA for fuel and some lunch. Any recommendations for a friendly airport with a decent restaurant?

The most obvious stops for us (minimal diversion) are Danville (KDAN) and Blue Ridge Airport (Martinsville, KMTV). But we're open to suggestions.

Thanks!
Matt

Default Try Martinsville (KMTV)

Food on site, not open on Mondays. Decent price on fuel. Easy in and out. Approaches if needed.

Good flight,
David

I'm based at KLKU between Richmond (KRIC)and Charlottesville (KCHO).
We fly around for lunch and have a tough time finding places to eat.
But we do love Martinsville, KMTV. Highly recommended. Unicom field and fuel tanks are close to Restaurant. oh, and friendly people too. :-)

Default Call MTV

before you go. They recently had a change of management @ the restaurant and I don't know if they have re-opened.
