Default ARRGHH

I had left Airleron hanging up with saftey wire getting ready to prime, you guest it, wire broke. Outer edge is toast. Bent bad between outer rib and first stringer. Rib and stringer are still in good shape. Ordered trailing edge skin today from Vans. Will reskin next week. At least I had not painted it yet.

Default double Arrgh

I painted a cherokee rudder in my backyard once. Zinc chromate at sundown. Temp dropped 20, aluminum dewed like a beer can, chromate fell off. Next day reprimed. Ok, good. Shot with awlgrip, great! Wire snapped and it fell in beach sand.
