Yes I am using the lean function on the D180 and for that matter I am getting the differential between actual EGT and peak EGT. Dynon recomend me to use this function from the start of leaning and not half way in the leaning process.

when I did my lean of peak check out I did this:

I grabbed my camera, yup, I started out with wide open throttle at around 10.3 gal fuel rate at 8500ft, c/s prop, rpm at 2400, lean function off. I took a picture of the D180. I than went and leaned at slight bit about .2 on the fuel rate, took another picture, I continued a .2 decrease with time allowed for settleing in. each time i took a picture. I than got er down to the engine running noticably rough and that was my last picture. Than I went back and landed and got on my computer and took a good look at my results. Very inlightening. I was able to graph my injectors, lean of peak, head temps, exhaust temps, not only that, I could see what was on the dynon at all phases. very cool info.

Can't you just get the data directly from the Dynon via a usb storage device?
