Default Trip to KAUO

My wife and I are planning a trip to Auburn on New Years eve. We will be returning home either New Years day or Jan 2. Does anyone have hanger space for an RV6A for a couple of days?

Default Friendly Service

Zack,
I really don't know if they have hangers available but I would bet they probably do. I've made several trips there in the past 4 years while my step-daughter was atending AU. Auburn University runs the FBO and has quite a good aviation department. The last time I was there, there were students manning the FBO building. They have courtesy cars they will be glad to let you use.
Best I remember fuel is a little pricey but the service was great.

Default KAUO

Paul,
Thanks for your response. I lived in Opelika for several years. At the time my flying addiction was in remission so I did not make any flying contacts in the area. Since then the addiction has returned and I am really enjoying it.
The trip to visit old friends will be less than two hours versus more than six.
