fastback 4
Another fast back RV4 ready for the paint shop. Now if I can just decide what color....the hardest part of any project!

Very nice! I wish I got the dark canopy. At the time Todd was having problems with his dark glass so I got the clear one.

The information that I post is just that; information and my own personal experiences. You need to weight out the pros and cons and make up your own mind/decisions. The pictures posted may not show the final stage or configuration. Build at your own risk.

Paint color
The best color to compliment your build is RED! Some white and black checkerboard, judiciously laid out, would finish it off. I suggest Imron fire red.

Sweet!
A very nice looking project! I'll be anxious to see your color choice/scheme.

The plane was bought off e-bay 2 yrs ago from a gentleman who bought the kit in 1988. Hadn't even opened the boxes. Luckily, there was very little corrosion or rust. The fastback bulkheads were purchased from Harmon, and the canopy from Todd's.
Yes, I thought of red, or candy red, or maybe tangerine pearl, with checkerboards! or I kind of like green metalic or.....?

I don't think it's possible to screw it up with those lines. ;-) That thing will be beautiful no matter what paint is on it...
