Default Good overnight spot near Logan UT?

Looking for a good spot to overnight somewhere near Logan Utah. Maybe a quaint bed-n-breafast on a field with cheap fuel?

Afton, Wyoming might be a good choice, about 60 NM from Logan, ~ due East.

Where you coming from?

Logan fuel is about $3.60/gal 100LL

Morgan is a neat airport near Logan and I found this Bed and Breakfast only a mile or two from the airport.
I have not stayed here but this is a beautiful area and would be fun to fly into.

Just Google "Bed and Breakfast Morgan UT"

I'm sure Logan has some nice ones as well.
If you want to fly to a nice dinner, check our Rickenbackers at Ogden. They are closed Sunday but the restaurant is right at the airport and it is very nice and has great food.

...an easy trip to a nearby hotel (not fancy) and something to see in the afternoon - local museums are good.

Getting around without a rental car is a big bonus.

It's a one night stay on the way to Canada...

The previously mentioned restaurant does sound good.

Ogden would be YOUR better choice, Morgan is very rural, no cars etc.

Ditto on the restaurant. 2 of them in the same building Fine Dining at Rickenbackers, "upstairs" lunch and diner. Also very good food, more casual "doolittles" downstairs. Plenty of Museums, AirForce, Railroad, Browning Guns. etc. Courtesy cars at FBO's for refuelers. Cheapest Fuel is $3.68 currently. Kemp JC fuel is quite pricy however. 2 other choices on the airport.

BTW XeVision (HID) Lighting is located on the Ogden Airport, 300 yards from Kemp Jet Center where the 2 eating spots are located.

Default Back to Logan

The Alta Manor Suites offer full kitchens, fireplace, Internet and whirlpool tubs near downtown Logan. $125-$139, 435-752-0808
Best Western and Hampton Inns are also in town.
The airport is 3 mi NW of town but there's a courtesy car at the Leading Edge FBO. Lotsa flight training going on by the USU pilot program.

Caution to visitors, you may fall in love with the place and never leave.

Steve
