Unfortunately too many are scared to fly into the "Suffer" (SFRA) to join us. Let me know the next time you make it in and I'll meet you at the cafe. Always nice to see another RV here.

Default KGAI and visiting DC

Mike,

I am flying my wife to a meeting in DC on Thursday 8/20. We plan to arrive around 6 pm and take metro to downtown. We will be departing on the 23rd around noon. Probably go to KFWQ for an event. While my wife is in meetings I am going to spend a day visiting Smithsonian. I wonder whether there is any RV related activities near by on Saturday?

By the way, our panels are very similar except you have a better GPS.

Ted

Hi Ted,

Nothing formalized that I know of for RV's that weekend but we could plan on flying out to one of the RV favorite breakfast stops on Saturday and give you an aerial tour of the Chesapeake Bay. Arjan and Bruce have an -8 on the field and we fly together all the time. They serve a great breakfast at Cambridge that will fill you up and probably meet up with other RV's from the area.

Update; it's nice place indeed. Restaurant is located in the airport terminal by 16.

As soon as you open the canopy you smell good food

They serve drinks in jars. Cool.

Bits of interior.

Their soups are really good.
