Default Garmin 496 / XM question
Will an active subscription XM antenna work and display WX on any 496, or does it have to be the one it's married to?

AFAIK, it'll work on any 496 or 396.

that any 396 or 496 using that antenna. The subscription goes with the antenna. I have used a friend's antenna on my 496 with no problem.
