Default AN fitting thread sealant??

Thanks for sharing this Pierre. Quick question. Should I be using any type of thread locking compound on my AN fittings? I'm thinking about my fuel plumbing that I installed a couple months ago. I didn't use anything. No teflon tape, locktight, etc.. Is there anything wrong with that? -Brad

37* flared fittings don't require teflon or any other type of sealant - don't use any.

As for locktite, not sure about that.

Safety wiring is never a bad thing. See this recent thread: http://www.vansairforce.com/communit...ad.php?t=37349
