Hey Bill,

Do you have any pictures of what you are talking about on the installation? I am at the point of putting all the interior parts in and now would be the time. OR.... you could fly down this weekend and let me LOOk at yours

Hope you and the family are doing well.

Thumbs up Here's another option (cost less)

Deems, you are the man! Or, I guess David McNeil is the man. But either way, I was just about to order the regular baggage restraint mounts when I saw your post. Beautiful. One more thing to copy from those who have gone before me!

Love this forum!

No problem Robert.

Go to the 2nd 11/12/08 entry on my 4th fuselage page for pictures and notes.

PS. It is hard to update the web site with a crying baby in my lap. Other than that, all is well.

No, I've grown tired of waiting on them, so I came up with this myself here's a link to some pics on the process. IT wasn't as hard as I thought. A little duct tape, some fiberglass, some filler, sanding, and upholstery material.

I'm going to dress it up with some matching leather inserts inside of the panel and a leather upholstered armrest

Out of all the builder tips I've seen over the years - that one is the best ever. You gotta send it in to Van's and perhaps Doug should also highlight on the VAF page. Bravo.

Now I just need to build another airplane...

Deems,

I was looking for something to do with my leftover hinge. Were these just pop riveted to the floor or mounted otherwise?

I just use a baggage area cover that snaps onto the seat back rail in my 6A.

Default tie downs

Don't mean to hijack thread, but has anyone come up with a good strong cargo net to attach to these and contain baggage? Bill
