Default Keeping the engine clean during build???

How the heck do you keep all the crud like shavings, filings, sanding dust etc off the engine during the build and if it does get on there, whats the best way to clean it off?

Baffle trimming and fitting makes a huge mess of a nicely painted engine!

Blow it off with air? Hose it down with a water hose? Vac?

Ideas?

Towels, sheets, plastic, etc. Vacuum instead of blowing it off.

But I probably trimmed all of my baffling off the engine, except for inital cuts with tin snips.

Default big bag

I used a Hefty Leaf Bag to cover the engine while it was on the stand.

Simple...but elegant. Just don't use the wife's good bath towels.
