Default fiberglass workshop

Folks,
I'm looking to take a fiberglass work shop, but Sportair doesn't offer one until October. I'd like to learn it this summer.
Is there another company that runs those weekend skills classes?
Thanks in advance,

Lacking any info on workshops, you might try to tie in with someone who is building a glass airplane and spend some time helping him/her out. Check your local EAA chapter, call the glass kit manufacturers, etc.

Default Oshkosh Workshops

Haven't seen this summer's schedule yet, but EAA usually offers a series of workshops at Airventure, covering a number of topics (including composites).

West Systems offers free info as well as an instructional DVD. See http://www.westsystem.info/wesyephodvd.html.

Aircraft Spruce carries a number of videos on the basics, including one by Sam James. See http://www.aircraftspruce.com/catalo...vid_fib101.php

Good hunting,
Mike

Default Another option.

Dennis, another thing you might consider is calling the local College or tech school for AMT's and see if they have an upcoming composites class you could possibly sit in on or audit..
